Potential Future Meeting Venues

Chicago Public Library

Many branches of the Chicago Public Library, such as the Sulzer Regional Library, do have meeting rooms with projectors that we can use for meetings. The only downsides are that there is some paperwork involved, and the meeting must end when the library closes, which is usually at 9pm.

In order to have a meeting at a CPL location, you must first fill out a meeting room/policy form, which can be downloaded in MS word format [WWW] here. Then, you need to take this to the designated person with a photo id at the branch where you wish to schedule the meeting. You may want to look at the rules from a previous Sprint.

Kitchen Chicago

Brian Sobolak mentioned this:

The owner of Kitchen Chicago ([WWW] www.kitchenchicago.com) was into hosting meetings in her cafe. It's literally right next to the el, has wi-fi, but there might be a small charge to rent the space. Email her and see what she says.
